Christina Lamb

Christina Lamb is a bestselling author and one of Britain’s leading foreign correspondents. She moved to Peshwar to cover the Mujahideen fighting the Soviet Union and within two years she had been named Young Journalist of the Year, since then winning 14 major awards. She was made an OBE by the Queen in 2013, and is an honorary fellow of University College, Oxford. She is currently Chief Foreign Correspondent for the Sunday Times of London, and has recently reported on child refugees disappearing in Europe and the Yazidi women abducted by ISIS in Iraq. She has written eight books including the bestselling ‘The Africa House’. Her first play ‘Drones, Baby, Drones’ co-written with Ron Hutchison was recently performed at London’s Arcola Theatre.
