Ghassan Jawad Kadhim

Ghassan Jawad Kadhim has a BA, MA and PhD in Accountancy. His post-war career has largely been based on gaining access to high-level officials, representatives, and individuals, and facilitating their attendance to various training and capacity building programmes. He has over 10 years’ experience advising various public sector and non-governmental organizations in Iraq and has developed a valuable network of contacts within Iraqi politics and across its provinces. He has leveraged these contacts to facilitate the participation of high- level officials in hundreds of training programs and workshops. Ghassan has worked with the John Smith Trust (‘JST’) as a Regional Coordinator for the Middle East, where he became JST’s first Iraqi fellow in 2011, and a Senior Programme Officer in the Governance Division of the International Republican Institute (‘IRI’).
