The Scottish Government’s commitment to international peacebuilding and feminist foreign policy includes the government supporting the establishment of a Peace Platform—a dynamic, inclusive, and collaborative initiative to coordinate and amplify the work of peacebuilding organisations in Scotland and their contributions globally.
Building on research and Scotland’s delivery of the Women in Conflict 1325 Fellowship Programme, the Peace Platform will foster cross-sector connections, promote feminist approaches to peace, and strengthen Scotland’s leadership in global peace efforts.
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and highly collaborative Peace Programme Manager who will lead both the development and operational delivery of the Peace Platform, guiding it from its inception phase into a fully functioning, inclusive, collaboration-oriented sustainable network.
This post requires a balance of programme management, stakeholder engagement, digital coordination, and peacebuilding sector expertise, ideally with experience in feminist peace and security approaches and an established network in the Scottish peacebuilding sector. This role may also include some work on other Beyond Borders Scotland projects, including the WiC 1325 Fellowship Programme.
