Abir Belmabrouk is a dedicated Regional Coordinator and expert with over five years of professional experience operating at the intersection of climate justice, gender equality, and peacebuilding. As an alumna of the Women in Conflict 1325 Fellowship with Beyond Borders Scotland, she has strengthened her expertise in the Women, Peace, and Security agenda, complementing her role as a UN delegate for peacebuilding at the World Youth Forum. Her professional background includes serving as a Gender Expert where she developed feminist curricula and delivered training on gender justice, alongside her leadership in coordinating regional climate advocacy and environmental governance projects. A Chevening Scholar with an MA in Gender Analysis and International Development from the University of East Anglia, Abir’s academic foundation in conflict resolution and international humanitarian law informs her strategic approach to social justice. She has successfully managed multi-stakeholder partnerships and human rights initiatives, demonstrating a consistent commitment to empowering marginalized communities and driving systemic change across Tunisia and the broader region.
