Remy Makhlouf is a mediator and conflict prevention practitioner from Lebanon, currently serving as Head of the Conflict Prevention Unit at the Center of Accompaniment and Mediation under the Maronite Patriarchal See. She specializes in family and community mediation, conflict prevention, dialogue facilitation, and psychosocial accompaniment, working with individuals, families, women, youth, religious leaders, and local communities.

Over the years, she has mediated numerous family and community conflicts, facilitated conflict resolution and dialogue trainings, and contributed to strengthening local mediation capacities across Lebanon. She has also supported grassroots peacebuilding and insider mediation initiatives during periods of crisis and instability.

Remy is a member of the Global Platform of Women Insider Mediators and the UNDP Insider Mediators Network of Lebanon. Her work focuses on strengthening social cohesion, promoting women’s participation in peacebuilding, and supporting communities in addressing conflicts through dialogue, mediation, and locally led solutions.
